Experience Range : 2 to 10 yrs of relevant Oracle 9i/10g DBA training/teaching experience

Job Description

The Oracle University Core Product Specialist assumes responsibility for the overall success of inClass and online training products. This role assumes duties that contribute to the long-term lifecycle management of global courseware and technical infrastructure. With focus on quality and customer satisfaction, the Oracle University Core Product Specialist proactively determines areas of greatest need to facilitate and drive the adoption of OU products and services to both the internal and external customers.

EXAMPLE DUTIES
· Manages the curriculum lifecycle: demand assessments, training requirements gathering, curriculum planning across all media, online content production, course reviews, course roll outs, instructor training events, pilot courses, and obsolescence.
· Liaison to Curriculum Development Managers and Global Education Support (GES)
· Plan pilots, roll out dates and roll out re-plans of customer and internal courses.
· Monitor courseware quality metrics and provide feedback to Curriculum Management.
· Review and edit courseware design documents, lessons and labs, and course descriptions.
· Provide subject matter expertise for marketing and sales materials
· Support long-term process improvements, such as increasing reviewer contributions and effectiveness.
· Track technical issues and trends; pursue long-term resolution of technical problems that affect product delivery.
· Ensure that instructor readiness is in place for all organization throughout the globe.
· Lead initiatives for early adoption of technology and products within the global training organizations.
· Support business decisions: assist with feasibility studies and business justifications for courses.
· Identify ways to enhance revenue goals of customer training.
· Assist in the planning and development of online training materials.
· Maintain subject matter expertise in designated curriculum area
· Conduct demand assessments to determine if time, effort, and cost to develop training meet revenue and margin guidelines.
· Manage the translation process globally
