Desired Profile

The individual will provide nightly monitoring on client production automation processes.

In this role of Data Center Services Group (Monitoring Support Specialist)

To help us achieve a high standard of success, the associate needs to

• Monitor production automation jobs for failures.

• Report any failure in a timely manner to the appropriate parties

• Troubleshoot the error logs to determine the best course of action

• Document the failures in an email and send to the appropriate parties

Day to day responsibilities for the Data Center Services Group (Monitoring Support Specialist)

• Monitor and report failures of daily night stream processes for ASP clients.

• Monitor Automation Job for all production clients via the Autosys scheduling product.

• Report all Automation failures to Data Center Services in Malvern, Pa.

• Monitor the progress of daily/weekly tape backups via Legato.

Experience

• 2 years of Basic AIX experience on mid frame system.

• Must have some exposure to job monitoring

• Experience in working and delivering in a timely manner

• Working in a 24/7 group environment.

Work timings for your reference are as follows:

- Monday through Friday US night shift that is Tuesday through Saturday India time.

- That is 07:00 a.m. till 03:00 p.m. IST Tuesday to Saturday
